OK, just tried out the mod. problem is, it no longer allows you to set-up the LMG. Not sure what impact this has on accuracy. Also, the aiming for the .30cal is absolutely atrocious: you cannot see the target you're shooting at, which is ridiculous.
We can try this on for size the next game, but I suspect I'll be sticking to traditional LMGs, even though that means greater vulnerbality - which is the point, i think, otherwise the LMGs would be too powerful.
OK, based what Packrat said about the grouping being as tight as if we were shooting with an MP40, I'm gonna say, we're gonna use this mod for only one game.
I agree. This mod is a potential game un-balancer. Also, there's a serious disparity between the Axis and Allied weapons: you really can't aim at all on the .30 cal from the hip, wheeas the MG34 has that red dot.
