Call of Duty 2.
Great looking video.
Mac users tempted to get a PC/Linux system yet? It's only about $730 for a basic gaming system. :)
/packrat always ready to play the devil's advocate.

Sure or not? $730 only? How "basic" is "basic"? And if basic, does performance suffer?
Wouldn't mind getting a linux set. Would have to be a small form factor one (like Ludwig's) cos there's not enough space for a tower set at home.
In other news ... I'm really into this Rifle Range map. Got up to 434 with a KAR - Terz: what's your hi-score? (yes, I'm shamelessly comparing/boasting, but hey - it's all for the good of the Clan, right? =)
730 will get you:
2.5 ghz AMD chip
512 DDR2 RAM
ATI x700 card with 256 ddr3 RAM
80GB HDD
8X DVD ROM
Casing with NO BLUE LIGHTS.
Pretty decent for games.
However, $959 will get you
3ghz equivalent AMD
Nforce4 board w sound and GB LAN
512 DDR2 RAM
80GB Maxtor HDD
ATI X700 256DDR3 RAM
16X DVD ROM
Micro ATX casing.
I so should get started just trying the rifle range thing. Sounds fun. Fantastic score though.
We also need a name for our clan.
Option 2 sounds OK. But the important question is:
Does it come with blue lights as well>
= )
These are for regular sized casings, yah? More expensive for small form factor?
hey hey hey! blue lights nice ok?
Nope...the second option is for a micro ATX casing. :) Small form factor.
BTW, fw! leaving his com here, can lend us to use as spare computer? :)
