Enemy Territory Y'all!

This is a decent FREE download Multiplayer game with player classes, RPG style Experience points and Flamethrowers. :) You could try filefront.com as well.

Wanna try it out?

PS: If anyone has problems installing the game, you could try to see if there are fixes here. It's somewhere in the middle of the page.

How's your Hardware?

This program should be able to tell ye mac users what exactly you have under the hood and which games we can start next. It's from Aspyr so it should be good.

Later.
(The PC camp)

Aspyr Game Agent Features

  • Automatically scans user's Mac configuration to tell them which games they can play
  • Automatically updates its list of Aspyr games and system requirements each time the user runs the application
  • Plain English summary of why users can't play a game (ex. "This game requires Mac OS X 10.3.4, you have 10.2.8") and optional detailed/technical list of all system requirements and each machine's configuration
  • Familiar interface gives fast, easy-to-read results
  • Lists minimum and recommended system requirements for each game ? if your Mac will run a game but will perform better if you add more RAM, the application will tell you
  • User can click on ?Info?, ?Buy Now? or ?Pre-Order Now? buttons to go to the Aspyr web site to get more information on particular games (trailers, demos, etc) or to make a purchase
  • Allows users to see which games run on their Mac or on other standard Macs (a newG5 iMac, a 2.5 GHz Dual G5, etc)
  • Automatically can download newer versions of the application if one is available
Aspyr will continue to expand the features of this new game utility and plans future updates of Game Agent to make the application even more user friendly for Mac gamers.

Great idea to set this blog up.

Just to give some visual interest to the page, here's a screenshot from a MoHAA game some time ago.

Download this.

Go to the filez section and get "Hell in the Pacific". MoHAA mod with "17 deathmatch maps, 7 objective maps, 4 new gameplay modes, 2 new active classes, Japanese axis taunts, Japanese axis weapons, and too many new skins for both the allies and axis to even count. All of this material is set in the pacific theater of WW2."

Download's quite large (~400 mbs) so for those who can't, I'll be d/l both versions.

Cheerz.

Udates 25th March 2005.

Fraggers in attendance: fannwong, Berliner, G-man, Pshrike, Packrat

Maps played: Modern Warfare default rotation / MoHAA (normal) Objective maps + Cheechbots
+ UT2004 Onslaught

Fragger extraordinaire: G-man. (New target for next game)

Dead Men Fragging.

Test post for the blog where all MoHAA based comments will be posted...not on my website. :)
